Giving back to the next generation of mining engineers
With focus of mining shifting to more sustainable practices, the need to invest in future leaders of the sector despite the current skills’ shortage remains a core focus for the industry. After gaining a decade’s worth of industry experience, Patrick Doig, Deswik’s Head of Partnerships, imparted his knowledge to the future generation of mining engineers at his alma mater, CQUniversity.
