Deswik software recognised for product innovation and excellence
Deswik has been announced as an ABA100 Winner for Product Innovation and Product Excellence in the Australian Business Awards 2015.
Each year the ABA100 Winners are recognised through a variety of different award categories that demonstrate business and product innovation. Corporate, government and non-government organisations are acknowledged for implementing well-managed industry leading initiatives and for the research and development of high-performing products and services.
A fully integrated platform designed for all stages of the mining value chain, the Deswik software suite has been pushing the boundaries in the mine planning space since its inception. Deswik Suite lets mine planners complete plans and scenario analysis in one continuous workflow; in some instances, substituting the need for up to eight separate software packages.
Last year alone, the Deswik suite recorded over 655 new enhancements and the launch of two new modules.
“The Product Innovation and Product Excellence awards are a welcomed recognition for our team. We work hard to stay at the forefront of innovative developments in our industry and bring new and efficient solutions to our clients.” says Wayne Romer, Deswik Technical Director. “We will continue to enhance the Deswik Suite to meet the mining industry’s changing needs, and give our users greater capability across the mine planning value chain.”
At Deswik, software developers work hand-in-hand with mining engineers to deliver solutions that remain tangible and applicable to the day-to-day challenges of mine planners.
Deswik’s culture of continuous improvement and customer-driven innovation seems to keep them thriving in a volatile market. In less than five years, the Deswik software suite has helped 150 mine sites across more than 50 countries optimize their operations. Most global mining companies have now adopted the Deswik Suite as their mine planning solution of choice.
The latest addition to the Deswik Suite, Deswik.DD — a new dragline and dozer section designer tool was launched on Monday.
